The City of Charlottesville invites the community to a public meeting for the Belmont Bridge Replacement Project on February 13, 2013 starting 6:00pm at Central Library’s McIntire Room, located at 201 East Market Street.

7:00pm                      Public Comment

8:00pm                      Adjournment

 The existing bridge needs to be replaced with a safe, functional and attractive alternative that will serve the needs of the community now and into the future.  The design team has investigated various concepts to maintain this vital transportation connection with an emphasis on multi-modal mobility, long-term community planning and civic investment in public infrastructure.  Two alternatives will be presented for public review and comment.

Information presented to the public will be available on the project’s website (www.belmontbridge.com) after the meeting.  Public comment will be captured, through comment forms.  All comments received by March 31, 2013 will be present to City Council for their review.
